It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Pam Beiter Sartory of Jupiter, Florida. Pam, who was recently appointed Director of Accounting at Roger Dean Stadium, passed away unexpectedly, leaving behind a legacy of professional excellence, community service, and warm-hearted generosity that touched countless lives across Palm Beach County.
A proud alumna of Clemson University, Pam earned a Bachelor of Science in Financial Management and went on to build a remarkable career that blended financial expertise with a deep commitment to the local community. Though her roots traced back to the Lake Worth area, Pam made a lasting impact across the Jupiter-Tequesta region through both her career and volunteer efforts.
Pam began her professional journey as an Assistant Branch Manager for First Union National Bank before moving into the nonprofit and education sectors as Office Manager at the Palm Beach Marine Institute.
In 1998, she joined the Early Childhood Education Program at the City of Palm Beach Gardens Recreation Department and was named Supervisor two years later. Her leadership, organizational skill, and passion for youth development shone brightly during her time there.
In 2006, Pam became the Business Manager at SunFest, Florida’s largest waterfront music and art festival, where she served with distinction for nearly two decades.
Her work was vital to the festival’s operations—overseeing everything from financial management to ticket sales, volunteer coordination, budgeting, and customer service systems.
Pam led the Finance Volunteer Committee, whose members contributed more than 1,200 hours annually under her guidance. Her efforts were instrumental in maintaining the high standards and success of the beloved community event.
Beyond her professional achievements, Pam was a passionate and generous volunteer. She held leadership roles in numerous civic organizations, including Leadership Palm Beach County—where she served in FOCUS and ENGAGE programs and chaired the Holiday Breakfast Committee and Tourism Day.
She was also deeply involved with the Resource Depot, serving as Chair of the Board of Directors (2015–16), Secretary (2014), and Treasurer (2010–13). Additionally, she contributed to the Palm Beach Gardens High School community through Project Graduation and the Five Star Magnet Program Advisory Board, as well as supported youth sports through the Palm Beach Gardens Youth Athletic Association.
Pam’s most recent appointment as Director of Accounting at Roger Dean Stadium was met with great enthusiasm. General Manager Mike Bauer expressed the organization’s excitement and admiration, stating, “Roger Dean Stadium is extremely excited to be having Pam Sartory join our team in July.
Pam is well known in Palm Beach County for her professionality and outstanding work. Pam’s depth of work and experience will make her a vital part of our team and Roger Dean Stadium’s future.”
Her sudden passing is a heartbreaking loss to all who knew her—family, friends, colleagues, and the broader Palm Beach County community. Pam was known not only for her exceptional work ethic and leadership but also for her warmth, integrity, and unwavering commitment to giving back.
Pam Beiter Sartory’s legacy is one of service, strength, and sincerity. She made every place she touched better, every project stronger, and every person she met feel valued. She will be dearly missed but remembered with great admiration and love.
